Sausage with potatoes in the dough- a recipe.
- Yeast dough 500 g;
- Sausages 10 pcs;
- mashed potatoes 1 cup;
500 ml of milk, 80 g butter or margarine, 1 egg, high-speed yeast 10 g, 2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. l. sugar, flour, approximately, 700 gr. We melt butter, pour in warm milk, the temperature should not be hotter than body temperature. Adding the egg.
Mix well, add salt and sugar. Add the yeast and about half a glass of flour. We mix and let stand for about 20 minutes, so that the yeast parted and began to act.
Then mix the flour in small portions and knead well each time. The dough should be well away from the hands. We put in a warm place to climb.
While the dough is suitable, cook the potatoes and make the usual mashed potatoes. To do this, add butter and milk. Good knead tolkushkoy.
We crush the approached dough, divide it into 2 parts. Roll out the dough into a sausage and cut into small pieces. We crush each in flour and roll out a cake.
In the middle of the cakes we put about 1 tbsp. l. mashed potatoes and distribute in the middle in length. Put the sausage in the middle. Make 3 cuts on each side. And we begin to swaddle the sausage. Top lubricated with a beaten egg.
Grease the baking sheet with a small amount of vegetable oil and put sausages on it in the dough. We put in the oven, turn on the minimum temperature (500C). Leave for about 15 minutes to climb. Then turn on 2500C and bake until golden brown crust is formed.
