Central heat and power systems often run on gas. But what to do if there is no gas line supply in the vicinity, and heat is necessary? In this case, independent heating is your option. There are quite a few varieties of it, and they are very hotly discussed online. Disputes usually arise around the profitability of a particular scheme, because the main task of all home-made autonomous heating systems is not to bankrupt their owners. And now we will consider one of these cost-effective assemblies.

Principle of operation

The battery is packaged in the usual way by means of four futhor.At the lowest point of the radiator's beginning, instead of the shutter fuse, an electric heater is mounted. At the opposite upper point is the Mayevsky crane for lowering the excess air pressure. According to the author's intention, the radiator is filled with distilled water by gravity. The system is controlled by two temperature controllers - water and air.

  • Heating radiator;

  • Heating element (PET);
  • Two thermostat - water and air;
  • Plumbing fumlenta or tow;

Step one - prepare the radiator and install the heating element

Pack the radiator futures in the usual way, winding sealing tape or tow with silicone sealant, and twist through rubber gaskets. We press them with an adjustable or gas key. Heater need to pick up under the internal thread of the radiator.We twist it through a paronitic gasket, wrapping the thread with a fumlent. In his assembly, the author used for a cast-iron radiator for 10 sections heating heating elements with a power of only 0.8 kW. Second step - fill the battery

Prepare the heat carrier (distilled water).In one section of cast-iron batteries, about 1.5 liters of liquid can be accommodated. We expose the radiator horizontally, and pour the heat carrier through a watering can or by gravity. The final level of the liquid should reach the beginning of the Mayevsky crane, leaving an air gap in the battery. Having filled the radiator, we twist the faucet through the rubber gasket into the futorka, slightly pressing the wrench.

Third step - we connect the temperature controllers

The pledge of rationality of such a heating system is an economical operation of the heating device (heating element). In our case, heating is carried out in two different media in terms of density - water and air. Therefore, the thermostat should be two. In addition, there is also a cast iron radiator, which has its own thermal resistance, thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficients. For limiting the heating of the coolant inside the radiatormeets water thermostat. It usually goes as a regular addition to the heating element, and is a device in the form of a probe with a thermal sensor at the end. We insert it into the technological hole, and connect it to the heating element. Using a rheostat, we set a limit on the temperature of the water inside the battery.

The temperature of the air in the room is controlled by a single-channel air thermostat. It can be placed nearby. Most of them are compact, intuitive to use and are attached to almost any surface, for example, on a wall. The principle of operation is similar to a switch, so in order to connect it to the system, it suffices to chose a zero or a phase through a breaker. The body is also fed one thermal sensor, which can be extended as desired.
